Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will miss his third straight game Sunday because of his hamstring injury.
Jackson was listed as a full participant in Friday's practice but was downgraded to limited Saturday. He is now expected to return from his hamstring injury Thursday night in Miami.
Jackson was not ready to play with the injury, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter, especially with another game Thursday on a short week.
Tyler Huntley is set to start for the Ravens on Sunday as they host the Chicago Bears. Coach John Harbaugh said Friday that Huntley would start over Cooper Rush if Jackson wasn't able to play.
Huntley started five games last season for the Dolphins, going 2-3 while completing 86 of 133 passes with five total touchdowns. He previously started 10 games for the Ravens in place of Jackson, including one in the playoffs. Huntley was named to the Pro Bowl in 2022.
The Ravens are a different team without Jackson's playmaking ability. Since 2018, Baltimore is 74-32 (.698), including playoffs, with Jackson as its starting quarterback.
Without Jackson over that span, the Ravens are 4-12 (.250), losing six straight games. This season, Baltimore has averaged 32.8 points in Jackson's four starts. In two games without him, the Ravens have averaged 6.5 points.
Less than an hour after the announcement that Jackson was out Sunday, the Ravens went from being a 6.5-point favorite over the Bears to a 1.5-point favorite, according to ESPN BET.
