Britain's Harry Hardwick will make his UFC debut on Saturday in Paris after accepting a fight on only five days' notice.

Hardwick, 30, was approached on Monday about fighting Brazil's Kaue Fernandes in a lightweight bout.

Cage Warriors featherweight champion Hardwick has a record of 13 wins, three losses and a draw in MMA and is on an unbeaten streak of eight bouts in Cage Warriors.

Englishman Hardwick replaces Frenchman Fares Ziam, who withdrew on Monday after his grandmother died.

Hardwick's brother George also fights in MMA and was previously a Cage Warriors champion.

Scotland's Paul Craig, Wales' Mason Jones and Ireland's Shauna Bannon are also on the card.

UFC Paris is headlined by a middleweight bout between France's Nassourdine Imavov and Brazil's Caio Borralho.
