Liverpool view Michael Olise as the long-term successor to Mohamed Salah, according to the Daily Mail. The 23-year-old has excelled at Bayern Munich after joining from Crystal Palace and Liverpool are keeping tabs on the French international.



Tottenham reportedly made a deadline day approach for Jean-Philippe Mateta, according to Sky Sports. Spurs were in the market for attackers on deadline day and considered Mateta but they eventually signed Randal Kolo Muani on-loan.



Bayern Munich have reportedly joined the race to sign Marc Guéhi. The Crystal Palace captain was on the verge of joining Liverpool but the deal collapsed on deadline day. Guehi's contract expires next summer and Real Madrid have also been linked.
