Today's biggest transfer stories

Bournemouth are facing a fight to hold onto highly-rated midfielder Alex Scott with four Premier League clubs chasing him. The 22-year-old has attracted interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United, although the Cherries want to keep him at the Vitality Stadium and talks have already been held over a new contract.

Newcastle are preparing to make an official bid for Freiburg starlet Johan Manzambi, per Fabrizio Romano. The 20-year-old has been one of the breakout stars of the World Cup with Switzerland, scoring three goals and registering two assists. The Magpies are prepared to offer €50 million for the Swiss talent, but Freiburg may hold out for more.

Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah could be heading to Italy after Como and Inter Milan both stepped up their interest. The England international, 26, can leave Stamford Bridge this summer and Como are preparing an improved €35 million bid, with the Nerazzurri expected to rival them.
