Transfermarkt's market value update dates announced - New values will be revealed

Premier League on October 17 

Transfermarkt market value update season is here. The dates have been announced for the first intermediate market value update schedule for the 2025/26 season. The initial top-five league to be updated will be LaLiga on October 2, followed by Serie A on October 7, Ligue 1 on October 10 and the Bundesliga on October 14. The Premier League update will come on October 17, with the Championship update a couple of weeks before on October 6. All the other key dates are listed on the graphic below.

The market value updates will take into account the transfer offers players received during the summer, the transfer fees paid, and player's status within the club, as well as taking into account early season form.You can share your views on the upcoming market value updates in the Market Value Analysis section. Your opinions on which players will increase in value and which will decrease in value will be taken into consideration.

How are market value determined?

Market values discussed by Transfermarkt forum members are also taken into account in the evaluation process. However, the market values determined by Transfermarkt should not be considered identical to the transfer fees paid. The aim is not to set a price, but to reflect the player's expected value in the market. Both the player's personal transfer situation and current conditions are evaluated in this valuation process.
