This week saw Transfermarkt release its latest market value update for the Swedish Allsvenskan, which saw no less than 130 players up and down the top-flight either get an increase or decrease in market value. The biggest winners from the market value update were Mjällby AIF, whose squad market value rose by €3.9 million, while minnows IFK Norrköping lost more squad market value than any other club in the league. But which players outshone all others and are worth keeping an eye on in the years to come? We sat down with Transfermarkt’s Swedish top-flight data scout Joel Classon to find out more.

Love Arrhov: €1m increase in market value to €5m

Perhaps the most intriguing name in Swedish football right now is Love Arrhov. The 17-year-old talent burst on to the scene with Brommapojkarna in early 2025 and quickly earned a €4.6m move to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer, whilst being loaned back to the Swedish club until January 2026. “Let’s start with Love Arrhov,” noted Classon when asked about top talents in Swedish football. “Arrhov for me is a top tier talent in Allsvenskan and has shown his qualities throughout the season being a regular first team player and picking up loads of minutes and has shown his qualities and potential. The transfer value at €4.5m for me is a one heck of a deal and I did argue the likes of AIK, Djurgården, etc. would have had a higher asking price compared to Brommapojkarna. I strongly believe Arrhov is the next big midfielder for Sweden.”

Matias Siltanen: €2.5m increase in market value to €3.5m

Next on our list is another exciting, young midfielder in the form of Djurgården star Matias Sitlanen. With a €2.5m increase in market value in this recent update, the 18-year-old talent not only saw how market value rise by an incredible 250%, but also gained more value than any other player in the Allsvenskan. And Classon was more than happy to explain why. “Siltanen has been very important for Djurgården playing almost every game,” notes the Swedish football expert. “While Djurgården may not have had the season they hoped for, Siltanen has proven to be a key player and we can see the similarities with Arrhov. Despite only being 18, he is already such an important player in that Djurgården midfield so not giving him a boost in his value would have made no sense. Djurgården paid €1.2m when he joined from Kuopion Palloseura so for me he was already under valued. As such, a €3.5m market value makes him one of the most valuable midfielders in the league - which is something he has undoubtedly proven. He has qualities, he's been a key player and the interest from bigger clubs has led to his value increase.”

Kevin Filling: €1.8m increase in market value to €1.8m

Last but certainly not least on our list is young striker Kevin Filling, who has burst on to the scene in Swedish football this year and received his first market value allocation in the most recent update. After being promoted from AIK’s youth team to the senior squad, Filling has scored three goals in 12 games and due to being just 16 years of age, has already attracted interest from big clubs around Europe, such as Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United. “With Filling I didn’t want to go to high nor too low with his market value,” notes Classon. “He's a big talent for sure but he hasn’t played all that much to get a bigger market value than he got. Filling has played two games from the start and managed to get roughly 250 minutes. He has scored two goals in the Allsvenskan in a small amount of time. For me a market value of €1.8m feels like the most reasonable figure based on the fact he has a lot of interest in him and has been playing well. A bigger market value would certainly be reasonable if he played more. But he’s only 16 so a market value of €1.8m is a great starting point in his career.”
