James McClean believes Wrexham's nine-game unbeaten run in the Championship proves his side can compete with everyone in the division.
McClean was left disappointed as Harrison Armstrong cancelled out Kieffer Moore's early opener to earn Preston North End a draw with the Red Dragons at Deepdale on Saturday.
Despite surrendering a lead, the draw means Phil Parkinson's side have lost just one of their past 14 league games.
"If you look at our team, you know the quality we have here, we're not overawed going to any ground," said the former Republic of Ireland international.
"We look forward to the challenge and we believe we're more than capable of beating anybody in this division as each game comes.
"This division, anyone can beat anyone, it's ruthless.
"To go nine unbeaten is no easy feat and it shows you the character and the quality we have in this team."
McClean's teasing cross was tapped home by striker Moore as Wrexham led Preston after just four minutes in Lancashire.
The hosts spurned plenty of chances prior to Armstrong's late equaliser, with goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo and the Wrexham defence in inspired form to frustrate Paul Heckingbottom's side for long spells.
But McClean could not hide his disappointment at the way Wrexham let victory slip against the Lilywhites.
"When you're winning with 10 minutes to go and you concede, of course you're disappointed not to come away with three points," added the Wrexham skipper.
"It's a tough place to come and the conditions, you've seen it for yourself, are not ideal.
"The disappointing thing is, as much as we showed fight, we kind of stopped playing at times, then we start playing again when they score. You can't be doing that, we've got to keep going, keep playing football.
"But on the whole coming here against a side in tough conditions, we take a point and move on."
Moore's goal was his 10th in all competitions for Wrexham since joining the club from Sheffield United in the summer.
On his assist for the Wales frontman, McClean said: "It's always nice to help the team in any way you can with goals and assists.
"The big fella (Moore), he's managed to get a touch on it and it's another goal from him, which is obviously pleasing.
"But like I said, it's a bit disappointing to drop two points given the position we were in, but we've got to take the positives as well and move on to Hull."
