The penultimate LaLiga market value update of the 2025/26 season landed this week and there were some notable adjustments. Overall, 155 players in the top-flight of Spanish football had their valuations adjusted but Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal - the two most valuable players - remained at €200m.
Spanish football is dominated by Barcelona and Real Madrid with the two giants embroiled in a thrilling title race.
The Catalan club are currently four points ahead of their fierce rivals and two of their star men received significant updates. Majestic midfielder Pedri moved to the joint-second most valuable player in LaLiga at €150m, while Fermín López received a €30m upgrade. Conversely, Jude Bellingham was downgraded by €20m and Rodrygo dropped by €10m. Therefore, we’ve analysed which players now feature in the most valuable combined XI between Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Barcelona & Real Madrid most valuable combined XI
Seven Real Madrid and four Barcelona stars make the combined XI with an eye-watering market value of €1.27 billion. Mbappé, Yamal and Vinicius Jr form a devastating front three in the 4-3-3 formation with the trio’s combined value at €550m. Despite his €20m downgrade, Bellingham remains in the XI and the 22-year-old remains the most valuable Englishman at €140m.
As the graphic above illustrates, Pedri is joined in midfield by Federico Valverde - the Real Madrid man remained at €120m despite his hat-trick against Manchester City in the Champions League. Two of the four defenders in the XI received slight €5m downgrades - Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen - with Pau Cubarsí the most valuable defender in LaLiga at €80m. Joan Garcia has impressed since moving to Barca in the summer and he received a €10m upgrade.
