As 2025 draws to its conclusion, it's time to look at back at which Premier League players have gained the most market value across the last 12 months. The latest Premier League market value update dropped on December 9, and gave us the opportunity to take a look at which stars plying their trade in the English top-flight were the biggest winners over the last calendar year. There have been some big increases for some of the league's top stars as well as many upcoming talents.
Since January 1 this year, no current Premier League player has gained more value than Newcastle striker Nick Woltemade, who has gone up by +€65 million across the past 12 months, and now has a new market value of €70m. The German moved to St James' Park for as much as €85m this summer from Stuttgart. His market value was at just €30m at the time but has increased rapidly since. Second place might come as a surprise to many, due to the player's wretched current form, but Liverpool's Alexander Isak actually takes that mantle - the Swede increased by +€45m across the year. He is currently worth €120m after suffering a -€20m hit in this month's update.

There have also been significant rises for Liverpool forward Hugo Ekitiké and Manchester City full-back Nico O'Reilly, who have, respectively, gone up by +€45m, and +€40m across the last 12 months. Both Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali and Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo have seen their market value increase by +€37m over the course of the year, whilst Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson has risen by +€36m. Liverpool's Ryan Gravenberch (+€35m to €90m), and the Chelsea duo of Moisés Caicedo (+€30m to €110m) and Estêvão (+€30m to €80m) complete the top 10.
