It's transfer window may be closed in Europe's top leagues, but the rumours continue to circulate as clubs plan out future moves. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets and figuring out their budgets.

Managers will be constantly assessing their squads with sporting directors and recruitment staff scanning the market for potential deals. The rumour mill is still gathering pace and we've collated some of the biggest current transfer stories.

Manchester United are reportedly considering a surprise loan move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham in January. Bellingham only signed from Sunderland in July but the 20-year-old has struggled for game time and was a substitute in their 1-0 win over FC Köln. United are looking for midfield reinforcements and may be able to offer minutes to Bellingham.

Barcelona scouts have been keeping a close eye on Olympique Marseille forward Mason Greenwood. The 24-year-old, formerly of Manchester United, has hit 28 goals in 43 Ligue 1 appearances since arriving in 2024 and Barca scouts have been monitoring Greenwood's performances ahead a potential summer move.

Reports in Italy suggest Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are ready to battle it out for Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu. The versatile centre-back is a France international, but his game time under Igor Tudor has been intermittent. Kalulu could be set for a loan exit in January to revive his chances of making Les Bleus' 2026 World Cup squad.
