It's transfer window may be closed in Europe's top leagues, but the rumours continue to circulate as clubs plan out future moves. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets and figuring out their budgets.

Real Madrid have three centre-backs on their shortlist as they look to capitalise on the free agent market. Ibrahima Konaté, Dayot Upamecano and Marc Guéhi all have contracts that expire in 2026 and Madrid will refresh their options in defence with Antonio Ruddier and David Alaba's deals ending in 2026.



Meanwhile, Manchester United are monitoring Eduardo Camavinga's situation at Real Madrid. The French international hasn't featured regularly under Xabi Alonso and United could explore a deal for Camavinga next summer.



Liverpool could make their move for Adam Wharton next summer. The 21-year-old has been a revelation since joining Crystal Palace from Blackburn Rovers. Wharton is currently valued at €45m on Transfermarkt but that could rise in the Premier League market value update.
