The English Premier League market value update has been released with 249 players receiving adjustments to their valuations. The Premier League is unquestionably the biggest in the world and it remains the most valuable division. The total combined market value of every player at all 20 clubs is an eye-watering €12.78 billion, which represents an increase of €756.2m after the update.

Several notable players received upgrades with Chelsea’s Moisés Caicedo joining the €100m club and Alexander Isak receiving a €20m increase after completing his protracted move to Liverpool. Conversely, numerous players received downgrades with Manchester City duo Rodri and Phil Foden dropping by €20m and Florian Wirtz falling to €130m. With all the Transfermarkt’s renowned market value updates now live, we can now rank every Premier League club by their squad value.

Premier League clubs ranked by squad value

Despite their valuation dropping slightly in the update, Arsenal still possess the most valuable squad in the Premier League. The combined market value of Mikel Arteta’s squad now stands at €1.31b, which decreased by 0.8%, but Arsenal also remain the second most valuable squad in the world, behind Real Madrid. Manchester City received the biggest drop across the Premier League of 1.3% but they rank second with Erling Haaland the most valuable player in the league.

Despite investing heavily this summer and entering the season as title favourites, Liverpool rank third (€1.15b) with Chelsea (€1.14b) the only other club to exceed the €1b threshold. Manchester United are widely regarded as the biggest club in England but they only rank seventh (€730m) as a result of their recent struggles under Rúben Amorim. Bournemouth and Sunderland have enjoyed excellent starts to the season and they received the biggest squad upgrades of 17%. Newly promoted Burnley received a substantial upgrade but Scott Parker’s squad is still the least valuable in the league.
