It's transfer window may be closed in Europe's top leagues, but the rumours continue to circulate as clubs plan out future moves. Teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes on identifying targets and figuring out their budgets.
Managers will be constantly assessing their squads with sporting directors and recruitment staff scanning the market for potential deals. The rumour mill is still gathering pace and we've collated some of the biggest current transfer stories.
Today's biggest transfer stories
Real Madrid are confident that they will win the race to sign Marc Guéhi next summer. The Crystal Palace captain is out of contract at the end of the season and his exit is inevitable. Liverpool were close to signing Guehi in the summer but a deal fell through and Madrid have now entered the race.
Karl Etta Eyong is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs. The Levante attacker is on the radar of Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested and he's expected to depart Levante in January.
Bayern Munich are leading the race to sign Givario Read from Feyenoord. The 19-year-old has excelled for the Dutch side and is widely viewed as one of the best young right-backs in the world.
