Newcastle United are reportedly monitoring Kobbie Mainoo's predicament at Manchester United ahead of a potential January move. The England international wanted to leave his boyhood club on loan last month due to a lack of minutes and he's not currently a starter under Ruben Amorim.

Real Madrid and PSG retain an interest in Arsenal centre-back William Saliba. The 24-year-old's contract at Mikel Arteta's men expires in 2027 but Arsenal are very confident that Saliba will pen an extension with talks ongoing.



Nicolas Jackson's agent insists the Senegal international won't return to Chelsea when his loan deal with Bayern Munich ends. The Bundesliga club have a buy-option in the deal but it's extremely difficult for the obligation clause to be triggered. Chelsea play Bayern Munich in the Champions League tonight.
