Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with PSG for Randal Kolo Muani. The French international will join Thomas Frank’s men on-loan until the end of the season after a breakthrough was made in talks. It’s understood that the deal is a straight loan and there’s no buy option with Spurs paying a €5 million loan fee.

The 26-year-old has travelled to London to complete his medical with the deal to be announced before the deadline. Kolo Muani impressed on loan at Juventus last season and the Italian giants wanted to sign him permanently but they couldn’t reach an agreement with PSG. The versatile attacker provided 16 goal contributions in 36 games for Juve and he’s a shrewd signing for Tottenham.

PSG splurged an incredible €95m to sign Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023 but he failed to impress at the French giants. The attacker registered 43 goal contributions in 50 games to generate huge excitement at Frankfurt but he only managed 11 goals in 54 goals for PSG. Kolo Muani’s contract runs until 2028 at Paris but he’s realistically not going to play under Luis Enrique.

Kolo Muani will bolster Frank’s attacking options with Spurs strengthening that department across the summer. Mathys Tel’s loan spell from Bayern Munich was made permanent, Mohammed Kudus joined from West Ham and Xavi Simons arrived from RB Leipzig. Frank regularly switches his formation but Kolo Muani will compete with Richarlison and Dominic Solanke to start up front.
