Should the market value of Chelsea's rising star Estêvão (18) continue to skyrocket? And what about Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappé at the top of the world rankings? You can now vote on whether a player's market value should go up, go down, or stay the same with just a simple click. The new market value voting tool is integrated into each player profile on the Transfermarkt website.
On the mobile version of Transfermarkt.com, you will find the new market value voting option if you scroll down on the the player profile, and on the desktop website it's on the right-hand side of the profile. The market value voting can be used without registration: whether you are a regular user or a casual visitor, every vote counts and is included in the visible trend that users can see. But please vote as fairly and accurately as possible, and try not be biased!
With a simple click on the corresponding button, every user can submit an assessment. This is deliberately not about a specific number. The detailed discussion continues in the market value analysis forum – you can find the link to this directly in the player profile for every player in every top league. You can also see the in depth rules and logistics behind our world-renowned market values at the top of that page.
"With the market value voting, we have implemented something we have wanted to do for a long time," says Artjom Zavodnyk, market value coordinator at Transfermarkt. "On the one hand, the tool supports our admins in determining market value, but above all, it gives our users the opportunity to participate even more actively in the analysis. The aim is to spark interest in informed participation in market value analysis. We hope that many users will become active in the discussions after their initial experiences and thus contribute to an even higher quality of market value determination."
